Alternative Trade

Creating opportunities for artisans in the developing world.

Supporting alternative trade is a means by which you can insure that farmers and workers in the developing world receive a fair return for their products and labour. By purchasing alternatively or fairly traded products, you can create lasting transformation by helping communities become stable, thriving and healthy.

CLWR promotes alternative trade to its constituency by encouraging support for Ten Thousand Villages. This organization assists many of the same artisans that were supported by CLWR's Four Corners while it was in operation. Ten Thousand Villages operates retail outlets in seven provinces and an online store.
