Since 1946, CLWR has made humanitarian relief shipments to those in need around the world.
Through the dedication of churches, service groups, and individuals of all ages the We Care program continues to ship thousands of quilts, kits, and other much-needed supplies every year. These tremendous gifts provide basic necessities to those living in adverse conditions, like refugee camps and poverty-stressed regions, and in the wake of natural disasters.
We invite you to discover how you can make a difference.
The We Care program is based in our Winnipeg warehouse (at 549 King Edward Street). The warehouse is open 8:30-4:00 CT, Monday to Friday.

On May 9-10 the Lutheran churches of British Columbia will once again gather in Abbotsford and rally in support of families in need.
For over 20 years, BC Baling Days has been a highlight on the We Care calendar and we are pleased to extend an invitation to everyone in British Columbia who would like to get involved.
Beginning April 6, quilts, blankets and We Care kits can be delivered to the new Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) facility located at 201-33933 Gladys Avenue, Abbotsford (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
Please contact CLWR regarding other donations that are needed.
A special packing slip can be downloaded here and should be attached to every box of donations.
*Participating groups need to deliver their goods to the MCC warehouse no later than noon on May 10.

We are looking for volunteers of all ages to join us on May 9 and 10 to help sort, fold, count, tape, weigh, label and load all of the donations into an international cargo container.
Baling Days is a great opportunity for fellowship, to learn more about the work of CLWR and to make a significant contribution towards the alleviation of poverty and suffering.
Please call 1.800.661.2597 or email us if you're interested in volunteering. Coffee and cookies will be provided and there is a cafeteria on-site to purchase lunch.
This year’s shipment will support CLWR’s and Lutheran Church-Canada’s mission partners at Iglesia Luterano Sinodo de Nicaragua. The container will support children and schools in the Chinandega area.
Please consider printing this year’s poster for your church bulletin board to help get the word out! Thank you.
