Seeds of Hope Campaign - Spring 2008
We need you! Help us “grow hope” this season.
Spring is here, and what an opportune time to focus on all the wonderful things we associate with the spring season—warmth, growth, life, possibilities and hope!
In this spirit, we are pleased to provide you with an opportunity to nurture life around the world through our first annual Seeds of Hope Campaign. Through our community development programming in countries like Nicaragua, Cambodia, Peru, Bolivia, India, Zambia and Mozambique, we are providing hope and a future to women and men, boys and girls through better education, sanitation, agriculture, fresh water wells and enhanced opportunities to simply live better, healthier and longer lives.
Consider making a major gift to CLWR at this time.
You probably already know that your prayers and financial assistance, combined with funding from the Canadian government (CIDA), are vital to sustain this important work. Please help us obtain the most funds possible from the government, allowing us to do even MORE—the needs never cease. When you designate your donation as "where needed most," you are helping CLWR receive this important government support, and your donation goes much further.
When you make a donation to the Seeds of Hope campaign, we will send you a paper botanical heart along with your tax receipt. The paper botanical heart is for you to plant this spring. This is a token of our appreciation for your support and a visual reminder of how your donations are “growing” funds for CLWR. Simply place the wildflower seed paper under a thin layer of soil and water thoroughly. Ensure it gets plenty of sun and watch it bloom into a lovely bouquet. Your financial gift will do the rest to grow hope, too.
