Study Tours
Canadian Lutheran World Relief provides opportunities to travel to CLWR sponsored program locations so that Canadians can better understand the poverty-related issues facing many people and how CLWR is addressing them through long-term development programs.
Over the years CLWR tours have travelled to Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Peru, Bolivia, Zambia and Mozambique. Participants pay their own way.
There are two types of tours. The Tour of Discovery is open to anyone. The Seminary Study Tour is available to seminary students and their professors. Both tours normally last about two weeks and focus on a country or region.
