CLWR's Partners: Together We Can Do More
Canadian Lutheran World Relief is a product of the partnership it has with individuals, groups, churches, governments and non-government agencies.
CLWR has partners who support its work. Individuals and groups from the Canadian public, the Canadian (CIDA) and Saskatchewan (SCIC) governments, and congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) and the Lutheran Church - Canada (LCC) all generously support the work of CLWR through financial and material donations.
CLWR also has partners who implement its work. In Africa and Asia, CLWR supports relief and development programs in countries where the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) and Action by Churches Together (ACT) oversee operations. In South America, CLWR works through numerous local non-government organizations that implement development programs on CLWR's behalf. CLWR also works in partnership with other church bodies through the Canadian Foodgrains Bank (CFGB).
It is this partnership that takes a generous donation and turns it into a blessing for someone in need. Thank you for your partnership for together we can do more!
