A significant portion of Nicaragua’s population lives below the poverty line. Despite efforts to improve things, education remains inadequate, particularly in rural areas, limiting children’s development. School can be hard for children, even at the best of times, so imagine how difficult it must be for those who are going hungry and are deprived of the most essential provisions and resources.
