Farmers in El Salvador are facing a crisis
In a place where agriculture is so important to the economy and to people’s lives, the effects of both climate change and the pandemic have been devastating. In recent years, farmers there have been taking out loans to pay for seeds and grow crops, but when drought or floods have hit – as they so often do – the crops have been lost and farmers have fallen into debit.
Many farmers are close to giving up on farming, and food is in short supply. We need your help to get them and their families back on their feet.
