In respect to the current crisis in the Ukraine, at this point, the federal government has not announced any special initiatives for Ukrainian refugees involving the Privately Sponsored Refugees (PSR) program in which CLWR participates. However, Canada has announced temporary protection to Ukrainian refugees, as well as permanent residence options to family members of Ukrainian-Canadians, through other streams. Please note that CLWR is only able to assist with the federal PSR program, and is not able to assist with arrivals through these other streams — for more information about the immigration measures announced in response to the Ukraine crisis, please see the following statement by the Government of Canada:
